# Installation

Installation is as per standard web part installation. No special API permissions are required but a SharePoint Admin must approve the installation. [See this page for detailed web part installation instructions](https://docs.listburst.app/getting-started/introduction).

Once it is installed, you'll get the option to create a new list, or use an existing task list:

If you use an existing list, then you may have to configure some of the required columns manually in the edit pane:
